INTRODUCTION
Poor nutritional is a leading cause of most non-communicable diseases and shortened life-span. Nutritional assessment and survey are done to obtain information about the prevalence and geographic distribution of nutritional disorders within a community or a specified population group. The purpose of Epi Info/ENA software is to make analysis of nutrition and mortality data collected in field surveys as easy and reliable as possible.REQUIREMENTS
The training is designed for participants who are reasonably proficient in English.

By completing this course, participants will be able to:-
- Understand the importance of nutrition assessments and survey
- Understand the basic anthropometric techniques application and reference standards
- Gain a general knowledge of how to install and work with ENA and EpiInfo software programs
- Install and work with ENA/EpiInfo Software
- Gain knowledge on how to program data entry forms
- Conduct automated plausibility and data quality checks
- Produce automated analyses of key mortality and nutrition indicators
- Generate reports that include results of these automated analyses.

- Creating a survey questionnaire from scratch
- Making a survey with the questionnaire template of ENA/EpiInfo software
- Entering data into the questionnaire
- Importing survey data from another software

This instructor led training course is delivered using a blended learning approach and comprises of presentations, guided sessions of practical exercise, web based tutorials and group work. Our facilitators are seasoned industry experts with years of experience, working as professional and trainers in these fields.
All facilitation and course materials will be offered in English. The participants should be reasonably proficient in English.
Accreditation
Upon successful completion of this training, participants will be issued with a Livecode Technologies certificate.
Training Venue
The training is residential and will be held at the Livecode Technologies Training Center in Westlands, Nairobi, Kenya. The course fee covers the course tuition, training materials, two break refreshments, lunch, and study visits.
All participants will additionally cater for their, travel expenses, visa application, insurance, and other personal expenses.

Training Fees
The course fees is KES 65,000.00 or USD 900.00 exclusive of VAT. The course fees covers the course tuition, training materials, two (2) break refreshments, lunch and study visits. Participants will cater for their travel and accommodation costs.

Cancellation Policy
Payment for the all courses includes a registration fee, which is non-refundable, and equals 15% of the total sum of the course fee.
